Travelling to Long Island for $210 (flight+hotel included)

I scoured the internet to find the most affordable deal to travel to a Family Island, and that's when I stumbled upon the My Out Islands Two Fly Free Promotion.

I know you've seen this sign somewhere driving around New Providence:

Traveling to the Family Islands can become expensive when you factor in flights, hotels, and food, but it doesn't have to be. This promotion is really convenient and it can save you so much money and who doesn't like to save money?

In a nutshell, if you book a stay with select hotels, you will be eligible to qualify for one or two free roundtrip tickets depending on the length of your stay. This is big - because let's face it:

I booked a two-night stay at the Greenwich Creek Lodge. The Greenwich Creek Lodge was undoubtedly the cheapest and most affordable option, but there were other options available in Long Island like Gems at Paradise Beach Hotel and the Stella Maris Resort Club that are also a part of the My Out Islands Two Fly Free Promotion.

Why Greenwich Creek Lodge?

The Greenwich Creek Lodge ticked all the boxes for me. I plan on exploring Long Island as much as possible on this trip, so I really needed a place to rest my head and to chill for a bit. Greenwich Creek Lodge is clean and welcoming, has friendly staff, and perfectly located near Deadman's Cay Airport.

All in all, I think this is a steal for the price - especially when you factor in the roundtrip ticket!

Long Island is over 80 miles long! There are so many spots on the island that I would like to check out that it wouldn't make much sense for me to fork out hundreds of dollars on a place that I would be at for a limited time during the day.

You have to plan your trip not only bearing in mind the cost but the purpose of your trip. Are you going to relax, explore, or attempt to do a combination of the two? I think your accommodation ought to commensurate with the purpose of your trip and that's what I'm doing with the Greenwich Creek Lodge.
